The cask pattern was derived from the coins in circulation in the Han dynasty to express the pursuit of wealth, but it was not common on the bronze mirror. From the available reliable materials, there are the two kinds of cask patterns on the Han bronze mirrors in the shape of “Wuzhu” coins and “Daquan Wushi” coins.
